The Little Prince Asteroid Treats

(makes 6)

You’ll need:

nonstick foil

2 (12 ounce) packages white candy melts

black food-gel dye

printed cutout of the Little Prince

Ingredients:

40 marshmallows

2 tablespoons butter

6 cups rice cereal

1-½ cups chocolate cookies, crushed

Directions:

In a large pan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Stir in the rice cereal and crushed chocolate cookies. Divide the mixture into six equal portions and place a scoop into the center of a piece of nonstick foil. Form into a ball and let cool.

While the treats are cooling, melt the candy melts in a small bowl according to package directions. Add a drop of black food-gel dye and stir to get a grayish color.

Dip the cereal balls into the gray candy melt mixture. Let set on a piece of parchment or Silpat.

Once the treat is dry, tape a Little Prince cut out to a toothpick and stick into the asteroid to serve.
