Hotel Transylvania 2 is out, and my family is excited! We loved the first one, and we love movies that get us in the mood for a holiday. Halloween is coming up fast and if you are looking for a fun candy bucket for your kids or a popcorn bucket to take to the movies, try this vampire bat-inspired idea.

What you’ll need:

Plain bucket

Glow-in-the-dark duct tape

X-Acto knife

Cutting mat

Pen

Cardstock

Directions:

Step 1: Make a template. Draw a simple bat outline onto the cardstock and cut it out.

Step 2: Trace the template several times onto the glow-in-the-dark duct tape. Then use the X-Acto knife and cutting mat to cut out the bats.

Step 3: Carefully lift up the tape bats from the cutting mat and place them on the bucket.

Step 4: Let the glow-in-the-dark tape charge in direct light for a while before using. Then get out there and get some candy!
