Just How Many Villains Does Batman Capture in 'Suicide Squad'?

Just How Many Villains Does Batman Capture in 'Suicide Squad'?

All of them, according to Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who went through five hours of physical prosthetic work each day to become the iconic Batman villain Killer Croc.

"They could've easily CGI'd this [character], but David Ayer was insistent on casting an actor because he wanted you to relate to the character" Akinnuoye-Agbaje tells us. "As arduous as five hours of makeup was, it was a challenge that I wanted to take on. Because if I'm going to go through that much, I'm going to act my butt off."

Speaking of butts, much of the conversation surrounding Suicide Squad right now is just how much butt kicking Ben Affleck's Batman will get to do, especially since audiences finally got to see him do his Bat-thang in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is now in theaters.

Based on our short chat with Akinnuoye-Agbaje, it would appear as if at least part of the movie will revolve around Batman capturing the Suicide Squad members and bringing them to Arkham.

Here's what he has to say.

Oooh, now we want to see what a "croc roll" looks like! Akinnuoye-Agbaje doesn't explicity confirm that Batman's role in the movie will involve the capturing of all the criminals, but he does say the Bat is the one responsible for them all being locked up. Considering both he and Will Smith teased some kind of run-in with Affleck's Batman, it would make sense that each villain will get their own moment with the Caped Crusader at some point prior to the Squad officially coming together.

And if so, then bring it!

We got more on Suicide Squad in our exclusive chat with its director, David Ayer, right here. Meanwhile you can devour Suicide Squad when it hits theaters on August 6.
