Don’t you love it when a casting plan comes together? The final pieces in that long-awaited A-Team movie finally look to be settling into place, as Variety tells us that the last member of the new (and improved?) big-screen A-Team has been added, along with a love interest who’s a tad different from what we’ve seen before.

First up, his name still might not be familiar to most, but if you were one of the thousands who caught a screening (or three) of District 9, then you know Sharlto Copley as, well, “the main guy” – that measly little desk clerk who quite literally transforms right before our eyes. Yeah, him. He was good, right? You liked him, right? Well, get ready to see him in a bunch more stuff now that his star has been placed firmly on the map – and for starters he’ll be playing Captain “Howling Mad” Murdock, a role originated by Dwight Schultz on the famed TV show. Murdock is a little nuts and unexpected, a persona that should fit Copley quite comfortably.

Also lined up to co-star in Joe Carnahan’s (Smokin’ Aces) action flick is Jessica Biel, who finally landed herself a choice part in a high-profile film. Yay Jessica! She’ll be playing the ex-lover of Bradley Cooper’s character (Templeton “Faceman” Peck), but in a fun twist she’s also a military general pursuing the renegade team. Other cast members include Liam Neeson and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (rumored). Shooting is currently underway in Vancouver, and The A-Team is due out on June 11, 2010.

Hey, as long as the black van is there, I’m game. You?
