You know you're at least a little bit interested in watching another Jackass movie and a sequel to Zombieland, so what if I told you that those films are indeed in the works and to up the ante they'll be arriving in glorious 3D? Yup, I'm definitely not lying here – Variety confirms today that Sony is working on churning out a 3D sequel to their hit horror flick Zombieland, and on the other side of town Paramount is gearing up to go into production on another Jackass film in 3D.

As far as Zombieland 2 goes, director Ruben Fleischer will return to helm the sequel, and the studio is in talks with Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson to reprise their roles from the first film. There's no word on what it will be about, though we assume, like the first film, it will follow a group of humans defending themselves against a world overrun by zombies…except this time in 3D!

MTV and Paramount are already pretty far along on the Jackass movie, which will head into production this January and will of course star Johnny Knoxville alongside some of his usual cronies. Why another Jackass movie? Well, the first two films cost $16 million to make and wound up grossing a total of $164 million. That's why. I can't even begin to imagine the sort of nastiness and absurdity these guys will churn out of the poor, unassuming 3D technology, so for now we may as well sit tight, hold onto our vomit bucket and quietly wait for this to arrive in theaters later next year.

Which film are you more excited about: Zombieland 2 or Jackass 3D?
