Rumors circled the internet this week claiming that The Twilight: Eclipse was having so much trouble in post-production that Summit Entertainment had actually reached out to New Moon director Chris Weitz and even Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke with news that they may need one or both to return to the world of Twilight to help re-shoot a few critical scenes. Not only that, but word was David Slade was a nightmare after delivering a cut that wasn't up to par; perhaps one that was a little too dark for Summit. (Hey, not for nothing, but that's what you get when you bring on a straight genre director whose last film featured nasty, gruesome vampires eating their way through an Alaskan down.)
