We haven't heard much of anything regarding another Indiana Jones film, except that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas were apparently trying to come up with a plot for another sequel. Despite the lukewarm reception for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, everyone – including Harrison Ford – would like to make another sequel, perhaps to try to wash the bad taste from the previous installment out of their mouths.

Indiana Jones

The website Stuff has published a rumor that claims Spielberg and Lucas are close to finishing a script that will find Indiana Jones in a story that involved the Bermuda Triangle, which is that area of water in the North Atlantic that some people blame for the disappearance of a number of ships and airplanes. They also say this will be Harrison Ford's last, and that both Spielberg and Lucas have Ford on call for shooting next year.

However, this afternoon Indiana Jones producer followed up the rumor by tweeting the following: "The rumor about INDY 5 is completely false. Nothing has changed, we are not shooting next year and still in the research phase." Now, technically, he seemed to focus more on the "shooting next year" aspect of the rumor, and not so much the Bermuda Triangle plot. Maybe, at the very least, that much is true, except they're still plotting and trying to keep things hush hush. Hopefully we'll get more concrete answers soon. I mean, Ford definitely ain't getting any younger. If I were to take a guess, I'd say they'll plan for summer 2013, especially since 2012 is way too crowded for a film like this.

What do you think? Would you like to see Indiana Jones head to the Bermuda Triangle?
