Are you counting down the seconds till Christopher Nolan's Interstellar hits theaters? Okay, phew, so it's not just us, then. Yup, this one will definitely be a highlight of your moviegoing year, and not only do we have a new trailer to show you, but we also bring word that the film will be arriving in theaters earlier than expected.

Interstellar will still arrive in theaters nationwide on November 7, but it's also being released in 70 mm IMAX, 70 mm film and 35 mm film on November 5, two days earlier. Check out the new trailer below, which confirms the updated release date.

To catch you up: Interstellar tracks a group of explorers from a dying Earth who utilize a newly discovered wormhole to travel deep into space in an effort to save the human race. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, Jessica Chastain, David Gyasi, Ellen Burstyn, Bill Irwin, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine and John Lithgow.
