Paul Feig is on a roll! The director of the new version of Ghostbusters, which is currently in production, has been tweeting up a storm lately, and he just dropped an automotive bombshell.

In the original movie, the vehicle, known as the Ecto-1, served to transport not only the Ghostbusters themselves, but also their equipment, including their proton packs, so a converted ambulance with a spacious interior was ideal.

When one fan asked to see the back of the new car, Feig responded with another photo.

The original Ecto-1 was built on a 1959 Cadillac chassis and was modified for use in the movie.

In the sequel, 1989's Ghostbusters II, the Ecto-1 looks slightly different.

Putting aside iconic vehicles for a moment, Ghostbusters has also confirmed its first villain.

Neil Casey

According to Deadline, Neil Casey, an actor and writer whose credits include Saturday Night Live and Inside Amy Schumer, as well as director Feig's Web series Other Space, will play a character named Rowan. As with other character and story details, we don't know yet how Rowan's villainous actions will figure into the movie, but we only have to wait until it busts into theaters on July 22, 2016 to find out.
