You may have heard through various movie and news outlets, but yes, it's true, the age of mobile ticketing is here! We're proud to announce that beginning today,  movie fans can get their tickets sent to their phones as a 2D bar code to gain admittance into more than 1,000 Regal Entertainment Group screens.

Mobile movie ticketing is on the rise. This year, we've seen a 73% increase in the purchase of movie tickets via mobile devices. This past summer, nearly 20% of the tickets sold to the final Harry Potter movie were sold via mobile ticketing.
 
We've been rolling out our paperless and eco-friendly Mobile Ticket with partnerships with Hollywood Theaters and Reading Cinemas, and this new mobile ticketing partnership with Regal is the next step in the future of movie ticketing.
