EXCLUSIVE FEATURETTE: 'The Jungle Book'

At its heart, The Jungle Book is a classic tale about family and self-discovery told through the adventures of Mowgli, a "man-cub" raised in the jungle by a family of wolves. Searching for his place in the world, Mowgli embarks on a journey where he ultimately finds the true meaning of what a family is.

In the new, live-action adventure, director Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Chef) wanted to make sure that if they were going to retell this story that has such a rich legacy, there had to be a reason - especially since the 1967 animated Disney version of The Jungle Book is so iconic. Favreau found his reason and in this exclusive Fandango Movieclips featurette, the director, along with cast members Bill Murray (Baloo), Scarlett Johansson (Kaa), Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Lupita Nyong'o (Raksha) and Ben Kingsley (Bagheera) discuss how technology, an amazing A-list cast and a story that everyone can relate to helped make this the perfect time to bring this timeless tale to the big screen once again.

Don't monkey around - purchase your tickets for Disney's The Jungle Book now, then catch it when it swings into theaters April 15.
