For years Steven Spielberg has brought the most magical and wondrous stories to the big screen, so it makes perfect sense that he'd adapt one of Roald Dahl's classic tales -- and make it his first Disney movie, no less. It tells the story of a girl who befriends a kindly giant ostracized by other giants because he refuses to eat children.

Disney's The BFG opens July 1.
