For many of us, school is right around the corner. For others, it's already here! But it's never too late to add some fun flair to your school supplies. Here’s everything you need to turn a plain yellow folder into something to get excited about. A Minion folder! Here’s how you can make your own.
What You’ll Need:
Yellow folder
Black, white and gray contact paper or cardstock
Double-sided tape
Scissors
Pencil
Step 1: Grab your black contact paper and cut a strip to reach across the entire folder. Most contact paper has a grid on the back to help make even cuts. Then remove the paper backing and stick it onto the folder.
Step 2: Cut out a large circle from the gray contact paper. I didn’t have any, so I used silver cardstock instead. If you’re brave, draw the circle freehand. If you’re smart, trace something like a cup to get a perfect shape.
Step 3: For non-contact papers, you’ll want the double-sided tape to stick it onto the folder. The more tape used, the better it sticks!
Step 4: Cut out a slightly smaller circle from the white contact paper and stick that directly in the center of the silver circle.
Step 5: Cut out a small circle from the black contact paper and stick that onto the white circle. You can place it dead center, or off to the side a little.
Step 6: Cut out a thin curved line for a smile and place that underneath and you’re done! Enjoy your fun new folder!
