It hasn't even been a full 48 hours since we learned that Disney was adding one more movie to its live-action remake of animated classics (Mulan, in case you missed the news), and here we are again with word of yet another animated property getting the live-action upgrade. This time it's that snuggable, honey-lovin' bear Winnie the Pooh.

The mouse house has tapped indie director Alex Ross Perry (Listen up Philip) to write the project, which will focus on Christopher Robin as a grown-up as he rediscovers the wonder of Pooh and all his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.

This new Winnie the Pooh won't be as straightforward a remake as the recent hit Cinderella, so we're curious to see how it fits in with this lineup, which is growing with alarming speed.

Here are all the recent live-action Disney live-action updates, plus the ones they currently have planned for the future.

Alice in Wonderland - 2010
Maleficent - 2014
Cinderella - 2015
The Jungle Book - 2016
Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass - 2016
Pete's Dragon - 2016
Beauty and the Beast - 2017
Dumbo - 2018
Mulan - 2019
Winnie the Pooh - TBD

In the mean time, if you want to watch a charming, beautifully crafted live-action movie about grown-ups interacting with an innocent bear, go ahead and preorder Paddington. Seriously, it's a sublime, delightful film that deserves as wide an audience as possible.
