Beginning with a bloody Zack Gilford (TV's Friday Night Lights) in a police interrogation room, the trailer for the upcoming thriller Devil's Due then rewinds to a happy wedding scene, caught on camera, followed soon thereafter by the happy announcement of a pregnancy. Something is a little bit off about the timing of these events, though.

In any event, the continuing found-footage perspective is nicely explained by the newlywed husband, who explains that he wants to capture all the special moments for his new family. But he probably didn't anticipate the strange turns that his wife's pregnancy would take, or that she would act nothing like a blushing bride in the quiet of the dark, dark night.
