Yesterday Dwayne Johnson hosted another Rock Talk session with his two million plus followers on Twitter. During the course of tweets, Johnson mentioned that he was in talks to play DC Comics hero, Lobo. "Rumors of me possibly playing LOBO are true. Joel Silver and Brad Peyton working on it now. That could be fun," Johnson tweeted.

Confirming rumors from a couple weeks ago, Johnny Depp has signed on to star in Wes Anderson's next film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. [Deadline]

The screenwriter who brought us the Nicholas Cage numbers movie Knowing and next month's The Possession have been brought on to write a low-budget script from Universal's Ouija. Yes, that's Ouija as in the board game. The film had originally been earmarked for a $100 blockbuster production but given the quick-turn profits of low budget horror films, especially the Paranormal Activity franchise, Universal cut the budget down to $5 million. No plot details at this point, but it's safe to say the film will contain supernatural/ghostly elements. [Variety]

It's not much of a surprise that Ken Jeong has signed on for the third Hangover movie. The surprise comes in his role being "significantly expanded" in The Hangover Part III, though how exactly he will fit into the plot is being kept under wraps. The film begins shooting next month with a Memorial Day 2013 release. [THR]

Kung Fu Panda 3 is happening. Dreamworks Animation announced at Comic-Con that the story of Po and his martial arts buddies will arrive in theaters sometime in 2014. The studio also announced a Madagascar spin-off tentatively titled The Penguins of Madagascar and is targeting a 2015 release. [CinemaBlend]

Arnold Schwarzenegger's 18-year-old son who's currently making "news" on various magazines by dating Taylor Swift, will have a small role in Grown Ups 2.

The Avengers is currently the most mistake-filled movie of 2012 (so far) with 16 errors. Most of them are continuity mistakes though a couple factual errors are pointed out including the misspelling of NAMCO Bandai in the end credits and the incorrect German translation for "Reserved Parking." The Hunger Games is currently second with 13 errors.
