Tickets are now on sale to enjoy suspense thriller Cocaine Bear in your favorite movie theater.
Cocaine Bear sounds like a cracked fairy tale, but is absolutely based on a true story about a black bear that ingested a huge quantity of cocaine after the crash of an outlaw plane. That crash prompted cops, criminals, tourists and teens to converge at the same place and put them in the path of an innocent bear whose animal instincts were unleashed upon unsuspecting humans.
Directed by Elizabeth Banks, the comic thriller stars Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Alden Ehrenreich, O'Shea Jackson Jr and Ray Liotta. To give you a taste of what lies ahead, check out our exclusive featurette, in which the filmmaker and stars talk about what Elizabeth Banks describes as "a comedy inside a horror movie." The actors also address the seemingly ridiculous title —which is anything but ridiculous for the people involved in a scary situation.
Watch the riotously entertaining video below, then get tickets to enjoy Cocaine Bear with your friends at a theater near you. It opens Friday, February 24.
