Is there anything left to say about Marilyn Monroe? Hollywood thinks so, since a big, splashy biopic is being planned starring Naomi Watts as the famed starlet. It's called Blonde, and it's being adapted from Joyce Carol Oates' Pulitzer Prize-nominated novel of the same name. Though it was previously adapted into a 2001 CBS miniseries, this time it's heading to the big screen with Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford) behind the camera.

Naomi Watts as Marilyn Monroe

Though the film hasn't even started production yet, a promotional poster was caught floating around the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, and in it we get to see what Watts will look like as Monroe all dolled up in that iconic white dress with red lipstick. The film is said to follow the life of Marilyn Monroe through her relationships with Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller and John F. Kennedy, which means there's also some meaty parts for more than one leading man.
