Welcome to a new feature here at Fandango where we'll round up a bunch of the latest casting stories in one easy-to-digest post.

Matt Damon

-- Is Matt Damon eying an Oscar? Though a script still has to be written, Matt Damon has shown interest in playing Robert F. Kennedy in a new biopic that will be directed by Gary Ross. However, everything depends on the script, which is being written right now by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises). Damon as a Kennedy? Not sure if I see it. Do you? [via Deadline Hollywood]

-- Bradley Cooper is a wanted man these days, thanks mainly to his role in last summer's break-out comedy The Hangover. Entertainment Weekly reports that Cooper has dropped out of starring in the rom-com This Means War – about two best friends who battle over the same woman (Reese Witherspoon) -- for director McG in order to fulfill obligations he has to star in The Hangover 2 … and also because he wasn't crazy about the script. Which film would you rather see him star in?

-- In between starring as The Green Lantern (or in one of the other hundreds of films he's all of a sudden wanted on), Ryan Reynolds will join Nicolas Cage in an animated caveman comedy for DreamWorks. Cage will voice Crug, a caveman who must lead his family on a journey across an unfamiliar world after their home is destroyed following an earthquake. Maybe not the proper time for an earthquake animated comedy (ahem, Haiti), but we'll see what they come up with. [Variety]

-- How's this for a random buddy comedy match-up: Jamie Foxx and Ashton Kutcher are reportedly interested in starring in the action-comedy Streets on Fire about two cops who don't get along but wind up knee deep in a case involving a gang of killers who may be a group of corrupt cops. Doesn't sound all that inspiring or original, and the buddy-cop genre is a tired old rag doll, but I'm sure these two will make the best of it. What do you think? [Pajiba]

Mickey Rourke
-- Mickey Rourke is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood right now after enjoying career resurgence thanks to his work in The Wrestler. Now he's lined up two more roles for himself: One is as Conan's father in that Conan the Barbarian remake/reboot, while the other is as King Hyperion (who's the ruler of Ancient Greece) in War of the Gods. (Side note: Is it just me, or have we become obsessed with Greek Gods all of a sudden?) Both have production start dates that are only a couple weeks apart, so there's a very good chance he'll be picking one over the other. Which role would you rather see him in? [Deadline Hollywood]
