A week after being sued by an extra who was injured by a broken cable, yet another mishap has occured on the set of Transformers 3. This time, the yellow Camaro better known as the Transformer Bumblebee T-boned a Washinton D.C. police SUV driven by a bomb technician responding to an emergency call of a suspicious package on 3rd Street.

The area of the Washington Mall had been closed for filming, but the cops apparently had their radio frequencies mixed up.  The scene was supposed to involve damage to a Deception Corvette. Instead, the D.C. officer, his truck, and the stuntman behind the wheel of Bumblebee suffered minor injuries. The studio refused to comment on this latest mishap.

Last month, an extra suffered brain damage when a tow cable snapped during filming in Indiana, temporarily halting production. Although Paramount has promised to pay for her medical bills, the women's family filed suit last week seeking unspecified damages.
