Happy April Fools' Day everyone! While we cautiously spend the next day tiptoeing across the Internet for fear of being roped into some crazy story that isn't actually true, it's important to set aside some time to enjoy the fake stories done right. CERN researchers confirm existence of the Force

The physicists and researchers in charge of probing the universe for all sorts of answers to life's biggest questions decided to have a little fun today by issuing a press release confirming the existence of the Force, as in the mysterious power at the center of the Star Wars franchise.

"Though four fundamental forces  – the strong force, the weak force, the electromagnetic force and gravity – have been well documented and confirmed in experiments over the years, CERN announced today the first unequivocal evidence for the Force. “Very impressive, this result is,” said a diminutive green spokesperson for the laboratory."
