Neveldine and Taylor Spitball about Crank 3D and Ghost Rider 3
Although Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance doesn't hit theaters for a couple more days, there's already talk of a third movie. Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor said that they've met with Sony and that Nicolas Cage wants to do it and is "very pumped about it."
The duo also stated that they're confident Crank 3D will be made, with Taylor adding that Crank will be a trilogy. That been said, there is no script yet, though the duo told The Playlist that they're, "talking about ideas… and trying to push it through the system."
'Bad Santa 2' Begins Filming This Fall
Billy Bob Thornton is in Berlin this week for the Berlin Film Festival where the latest film he directed, Jayne Mansfield's Car, is currently screening.
During the process of doing interviews, the topic of the often-discussed sequel to Bad Santa arose and Thornton said the sequel will begin shooting this fall.
Thornton states that the movie will aim for a Christmas 2013 release.
'Real Steel 2' a Maybe with a Capital 'M'
Shawn Levy sat down with Collider and shared his thoughts on Real Steel's Academy Award nomination for visual effects, the success of the first movie and where the proposed sequel stands.
Levy said that he'll be getting a script for the sequel in two weeks and based on the box office and DVD numbers, the sequel is a "maybe with a capital 'M'."
