The Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black is in theaters now (get your tickets right here!), and all eyes – and ears – are on star Marisa Abela.
In our exclusive featurette, Abela explains that this movie gives us insight into Winehouse’s emotional world. “We’re using her album Back to Back to get a real insight into how she saw the people in her life, how she loved deeply and very hard.”
Abela also discusses working with Jack O’Connell to portray Winehouse’s love story with Blake Fielder-Civil, as well as how she felt the first time she performed in front of an audience as Amy Winehouse.
