Between 1992 and 1996, Sarajevo, the capital and largest city in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was under siege by the Yugoslav People's Army and later the Army of Republika Srpska, leaving the home of nearly 500,000 residents closed off from the rest of the world. Among them was a community of musicians and artists who came together for the greater good and attempted to get the word out about what was happening in the place they had long called home.
