Between 1992 and 1996, Sarajevo, the capital and largest city in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was under siege by the Yugoslav People's Army and later the Army of Republika Srpska, leaving the home of nearly 500,000 residents closed off from the rest of the world. Among them was a community of musicians and artists who came together for the greater good and attempted to get the word out about what was happening in the place they had long called home.
In Kiss the Future, the story of those rebellious free-thinkers and their tireless crusade will be examined in great detail, allowing audiences to hear their story and see the impact of their efforts.
On Wednesday, February 21, two days before the documentary opens nationwide, AMC Theatres will host a special early screening event exclusive to the Dolby Cinema at select locations nationwide as part of the AMC Artisan Films program.
