A lovable New York schlub who winds up fathering 533 children via a local sperm bank haunt and finds out his current girlfriend is expecting via the old-fashioned way – that’s just the beginning for mediocre meat truck driver David Wozniak, as he sets out on a journey of self-discovery that smells a lot like pot and man hugs.
Delivery Man, based on writer-director Ken Scott’s 2011 French-Canadian film Starbuck, tells his outrageous tale that also has 142 of his children filing a class action suit to try to determine the true identity of the biological father they know only as Starbuck – the pseudonym he used at the clinic.
As the story unfolds, Wozniak (played by Vince Vaughn) comes to learn that no one is ever quite ready for what life delivers, and that there’s a lot more to being a parent than he first realized.
