Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki has signed up for a tour of duty on the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel. Palicki, who starred in the unsuccessful Wonder Woman pilot, will be playing Lady Jaye and joins a cast that already includes Channing Tatum as Duke, Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Ray Park as Snake Eyes, Byung Hun-Lee as Storm Shadow and RZA as Blind Master.
Deadline also mentioned that one key role remaining to be cast is that of Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe. Several actors are currently in talks including Bruce Willis, who has been identified as a “top choice.” However, Willis has not officially been offered the role and is currently in the midst of filming three features. He’s also slated to star in The Expendables sequel as well as begin shooting Die Hard 5, among the eight movies he’s appearing in next year.
