Legendary actor David Carradine was found dead in Bangkok earlier today from an apparent "accidental" suicide, according to the Daily Mail. He was 72. Carradine, who's best known for his iconic role as Kwai Chang Cane in the TV show Kung Fu, comes from a family full of actors – including his father John Carradine, and brothers Keith, Bruce and Robert.

With more than 200 appearances in films and TV shows over the years, Carradine was always known as an actor with an edge; a somewhat creepy dude who could stare down the best of them. More recently you might remember him from his role as the title character in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, opposite Uma Thurman, or as The Deuce in Hell Ride, the voice of Frankenstein in Death Race or the strangely-named Poon Dong in Crank: High Voltage. Obviously the man loved to work (even though most of his latter stuff was either for TV or direct-to-DVD), and it shows in the fact that he currently has seven films in post-production. During the time of his death in Bangkok, Carradine was working on a film called Stretch. There's no word on whether he had completed his work or if the film will need to recast his role. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
