What is Moonlighting about?

After her business manager runs off with all of her money, ex-model Madelyn "Maddie" Hayes (Cybill Shepherd) struggles to pick up the pieces. She soon finds out that she owns a struggling detective agency, with one investigator, a smart-mouthed rogue named David Addison (Bruce Willis), and flighty secretary Agnes DiPesto (Allyce Beasley). Although Maddie wants to sell the business, David convinces her to give detective work a try, especially after she is chased for a strange wristwatch.
