Carol, a middle aged interior designer, is tending to one of her more difficult clients, Meghan, a New Age Petaluma purple person. Meghan’s cat has gone missing and how can anyone expect her to concentrate on drapery? Carol attempts to reschedule and as she’s about to drive away, she accidentally runs over Meghan’s cat. Carol panics, hides the Frisbee cat in her hatchback and drives home where her boyfriend Jerry buries it in the backyard. A few days have passed. As Carol arrives at Meghan’s for a follow up design consultation, she tries to disguise her guilt. Only Meghan is uncharacteristically cheerful. Carol hears a meow and suddenly Meghan’s cat appears. Carol faints and is taken to the hospital. As the ambulance pulls away, we soon discover the mystery of the dead cat.
