Director and writer Glenn McQuaid creates the movie ‘I Sell the Dead’ through combining adventure and horror. In this dark, gloomy movie set in the 18th century apprentice grave robber Arthur Blake (Dominic Monaghan) tells his tale and life story to Father Francis Duffy (Ron Perlman) and how he started stealing jewelry from corpses in order to buy food. He continues on with his story and talks about how he finds companionship with his mentor, Willie Grimes (Larry Fessenden). Unfortunately, prior to Arthur’s life unraveling, he is sentenced to death by Father Francis Duffy. And now, he must reveal his life to Duffy, hopefully swaying the father’s decision and changing his fate.
