In this gritty crime drama, con man Nick Vincent is set up by his partner Manny Breen and winds up in prison while his buddy moves in on Nick's girlfriend, Maria. Upon his release, Nick tries to reconcile with his lover in California, where she's living with the 8-year-old daughter she had with Manny. After she rejects his advances, Nick turns to robbing banks in Beverly Hills, hoping that the money can win her back. A jealous Manny has other plans, confronting Nick in a showdown on Rodeo Drive.
