FREEDOM IS A GOD-GIVEN GIFT (WOLNOSC JEST DAREM OD BOGA), 2006, 52 min. Dir. Cezary Ciszewski spent six months with Warsaw heroin addicts in an abandoned house. Ciszewski records his own "performance" and his adventure of being afflicted with a terminal disease, which he tries to overcome by attempting to enter the elite club of One Percent: those who manage to recover. He gets in touch with Poland's largest drug rehab organization to arrange for detoxification for all those in his film who want it.

"The First Day" ("Pierwszy dzien," 2007, 20 min.) Dir. Martin Sauter. The film looks at one of the first boundaries young people have to cross to become adults.
