What is Edge of Doom about?

After the death of his ailing mother, Martin Lynn (Farley Granger) feels desperately alone. His only concern is that his mother receive an elegant burial. Unfortunately, Martin is also in a dire financial situation and cannot afford an expensive church service. Enraged, Martin viciously directs his frustrations at a clergyman, killing him.
