Fandango is now available on Alexa to make your movie going experience even easier! With the Fandango Skill, you can discover new movies, browse movie times and buy tickets.
Get started on Alexa by saying, “Alexa, buy movie tickets.” Alexa will connect you to Fandango to start searching movies and movie times.
You can say things like: “Alexa, ask Fandango to buy movie tickets for Rogue One” or, “Alexa, ask Fandango what movies are playing near me?” or, “Alexa, ask Fandango what movies are playing at Regal Cinemas?”

- What is the Fandango Skill?
- With the Fandango Skill, you can look up movie times and buy movie tickets for general admission theaters using your Alexa-enabled device.
- How do I enable the Fandango Skill?
- From the Alexa app, go to the skills tab, search for Fandango, and enable the skill from the Fandango skill detail page.
- Where can I find the Alexa app?
- Please see your phone device maker's app store, such as the Apple Store or the Google’s Play Store.
- Where can I find the Alexa Skill store?
- You can find the skill store in the Alexa app or at Amazon.com/skills.

- What devices can use the Fandango Skill?
- The Fandango skill can be used on any Alexa-enabled device. See a list of Alexa-enabled devices on Amazon. Alexa Devices
- What can I do with the Fandango Skill?
- You can buy movie tickets to general admission theaters nationwide. You can look up movie times in your area and theaters nationwide, including general admission and reserved seating, plus theaters that don’t sell tickets with Fandango.

- Alexa, ask Fandango what movies are playing at [Theater Name]?
- Alexa, ask Fandango when is [Movie Name] playing near me?

- Do I need a Fandango VIP account to use the Fandango Skill?
- Yes. You will need to create a free Fandango VIP account at Fandango.com or with the Fandango app and then link your Fandango VIP account to your Alexa-enabled device. If you have an existing Fandango VIP account, you can link it to the Fandango skill.
- How do I link my Fandango VIP account with the Fandango Skill?
- Using the Alexa app, visit the skill store and search for Fandango. Tap "Enable" from the Fandango skill detail page. You will see a screen to sign into your Fandango VIP account. Signing in will link your Fandango VIP account to your Alexa device. If you do not have a Fandango VIP account, click "Join Now" to create one for free. Once you’ve completed that, sign in with your new account and your Fandango VIP account will be linked to Alexa.
- Do I need to have a credit card to use the Fandango Skill?
- Yes. You will need to save a valid credit card to your Fandango VIP account. The Fandango Skill will use your credit card on file to make purchases. Your Fandango Skill purchase history will display in your Fandango VIP account.
- For which theaters can I buy a movie ticket?
- You can buy tickets for general admission seating for any Fandango partner theater. Reserved seating tickets are not supported in the first version of the Fandango Skill. You can look up movie times for all theaters, including general admission and reserved seating, plus theaters that don’t sell tickets with Fandango. To buy reserved seating tickets, please visit Fandango.com or the Fandango app.
- How do I pick up movie tickets I purchased using the Fandango Skill?
- A confirmation email will be sent to the email address registered with your Fandango VIP account. The confirmation email will contain instructions on how to pick up your tickets. In addition, you can find a purchase confirmation in your Fandango VIP account on Fandango.com or in the Fandango app. Fandango Help
- Can I use a Fandango gift card to purchase a movie ticket with the Fandango Skill?
- No. At this time, using Fandango gift cards to make a purchase is not supported for the Fandango Skill. To redeem a Fandango gift card please visit Fandango.com or the Fandango app.
- Can I use a Fandango promo code to purchase a movie ticket with the Fandango Skill?

- Can I refund or exchange movie tickets I bought via the Fandango Skill?
- Yes. You can refund or exchange tickets purchased via the Fandango Skill. To process a refund please go to Fandango.com, the Fandango app, your purchase confirmation email, or contact Customer Service. Refund Policy
- Can I use my Fandango credit towards buying a ticket via the Fandango Skill?
- No. At this time, using Fandango credit is not supported for the Fandango Skill. To use your Fandango credit, please use Fandango.com or the Fandango app.
