Director Alan Parker creates a chilling blend of horror and noir in this atmosphere-drenched cult favorite which sparked controversy on its initial release due to a steamy sex scene with co-star Lisa Bonet of TV's "The Cosby Show."

YEAR OF THE DRAGON, 1985, Warner Bros., 134 min. New York police captain and Vietnam vet Mickey Rourke takes on Chinese crime boss John Lone in this violent, riveting thriller scripted by Oliver Stone. Director Michael Cimino does some of his best work in this visually stylish action film.
