What is Android about?

In a space station lab, reclusive scientist Dr. Daniel (Klaus Kinski) is secretly building machines, known as androids, that have similar characteristics to people. One such robotic being, Max 404 (Don Opper), is advanced enough to help Dr. Daniel carry out the experiments, but he turns out to be more human than the isolated inventor suspects.
