    Venus

A somewhat predictable story enhanced by the extraordinary performance of Peter O'Toole and some occasionally witty dilagoue.

If you are looking for a "thought proviking" or substantial movie this isnt it, but it is diverting and at only 92 minutes not a major commitment.

O'Toole is the reason to see Venus

Peter O'Toole delivers a marvelous performance in this character study of an aging, erudite actor infatuated with a 20-something woman in need of a good finishing school. She makes him feel alive again while she becomes genuinely fond of him and becomes more aware of the world around her and perhaps a bit less self-centered than she is at the start of the film. This is essentially a character study and the film feels bit thin even at 90 minutes, but when O'Toole is on the screen you can't take your eyes off him.
