If you're a Kerouc fan, then this is worthwhile. If you are a Kerouc fan that happens to adore Big Sur, then you should pony up. There aren't great cinematic effects, but the framing of the environments in which the story takes place and the historical references make this enjoyable. Sure, a but cheesy from time to time, as to be expected. But overall, it catches the humor in the darkness, much like it should.
