What started out as a rumor (and a very unfunny pre-April Fools joke) is now a confirmed fact. There is indeed a sequel to the 1988 Arnold Schwarzenegger/Danny DeVito comedy Twins in the works. The working title is Triplets, which obviously means you're going to need to bring in another actor--and it seems Eddie Murphy is at the top of the list. Yes, Eddie "A Thousand Words Is Still at 0% on RottenTomatoes" Murphy.

While the project remains in the very early stages of development, you can just imagine all the groan-inducing jokes that will spew from the actor's mouths.

Ivan Reitman, who directed the original movie, will only produce this sequel, leaving Universal and Montecito Picture Company with the duty of hiring a director as well as someone to write the script. Hey, easy paycheck, right?

Schwarzenegger had been considering doing a sequel since last June.

Schwarzenegger, DeVito and Murphy… does this sequel even have a shot at being successful?
