Focus Features has dropped a few new images for Joe Wright's adaptation of Anna Karenina starring Keira Knightley, Jude Law and Aaron Johnson (aka Kick-Ass). While the classic story has been filmed for the big screen in the past, Wright's version will be shot entirely on a single stage, with toy trains and dollhouses standing in for actual trains and houses in exterior locations. Sounds a bit Tyler Perry-ish--well, the filming a stage play part anyway.
The film is set to arrive in theaters September 7th in the U.K., but no U.S. release date has been pegged. Check out the pics below and let us know if you're interested in seeing this version.
