It’s Cinco de Mayo and frankly, there’s no better day to bring back The Five! With summer quickly approaching, a bunch of superhero movies are just about set to hit theaters. Take a look below at The Five Most Anticipated Summer Superhero Movies and feel free to sound off in the poll and comment section, and let us know which movie you’re looking forward to the most.

Who's In It: Chris Hemsworth as the Mighty Thor and Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins as his father Odin. Add in Oscar winner Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba and yes, that is Rene Russo as Frigga!
Why We're Looking Forward To It: The trailers have looked great and RottenTomatoes has certified it Fresh with 87% of critics giving the movie a thumbs up. Early projections have the movie opening up to a $70 million weekend.

Who's In It: Ryan Reynolds steps into the CG Green Lantern suit while Blake Lively plays his love interest, Carol Ferris. And then there's the baddies. Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond and Mark Strong as Sinestro.
Why We're Looking Forward To It: Even though the final trailer debuted yesterday to mixed reviews, we still have hope that Reynold's charisma and Sarsgaard's acting chops can overcome the shaky-looking CG effects.

Who's In It: Chris Evans plays the title role and faces off against Hugo Weaving's Red Skull. Dominic Cooper, Stanley Tucci, Tommy Lee Jones and Hayley Atwell join in on the action.
Why We're Looking Forward To It: Aside from the fact that this movie has been kicking around since 2008, it will be interesting to see how Evans handles the role of Captain America, a beloved character that is part of the all-star line up in next year's Avengers movie.

Who's In It: Maybe that should say who isn't in it. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender play Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, respectively. And joining comic-dom's most popular frenemies are Jennifer Lawrence, Rose Bryne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Zoe Kravitz, Oliver Platt and Ray Wise to name just a few.
Why We're Looking Forward To It: It's been five years since we've had an X-Men movie with such a wide array of characters, not counting the Wolverine Origins movie from 2009. Will this movie set up the proposed 2014 X-Men sequel or will it be a stand-alone origins movie? We'll find out in a month.

Who's In It: The trio of Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde to start. If that's not enough to get you into the movie theater, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Ana de la Reguera and Keith Carradine also co-star in Jon Favreau's big-budgeted comic book adaptation.
Why We're Looking Forward To It: When the trailer debuted last month, it was met with equal parts intrigue and bewilderment. Perhaps movie audiences are having a tough time grasping on to the idea of a sci-fi western? While not a superhero movie in the traditional sense, Cowboys & Aliens does share some attributes with the genre and has some superhero pedigree with Favreau directing. We're definitely looking forward to seeing Craig in a role that doesn't call for shaken martinis and Walther PPKs. Something tells us he's gonna need a bigger gun to take out these enemies.
