'Transformers 3'

Apparently there's a secret video you can unlock on the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DVD, and on that video is an interview with Michael Bay where he talks about Transformers 3. While he claims to be lying about everything he says, the director does admit that it will be hard to top the action in part two and that they may need to go sideways instead of bigger with the third installment. He also calls for less action and more emotion, especially when it comes to the robots as characters. Excuse me, but I don't think fans want to date these robots – they want to watch them fight each other to the death. I say lose the boring, emotional character study and amp up the action just one more notch. Eh, make it two more notches. Watch the video below …

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon'

Clips and featurettes for The Twilight Saga: New Moon have been arriving online fast and furious as of late, and the latest looks to be a featurette on the Volturi – a whole crop of new vampire characters (led by Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning) who will appear in the second installment. Aside from the Volturi featurette (which you can watch below), you can also head over here to see a featurette on the film's other new characters, the Wolf Pack (aka that group of guys who refuse to wear shirts). And if those two videos aren't enough to whet your appetite, then you can check out the first film, Twilight, when Summit re-releases it into theaters a day before New Moon on November 19th.

'Paranormal Activity 2'

Finally, there's a tiny bit more on the Paranormal Activity sequel. Last week Paramount was reportedly discussing whether or not they would pursue a sequel to the no-budget smash hit, but today during a quarterly earnings call for Viacom (which owns Paramount), CEO Phillippe Dauman admitted that they're indeed planning a Paranormal Activity 2. He added, "Our team will come up with the right creative and marketing approach." Personally I think this is a film that should be left alone, but you know Hollywood – if something makes money, they'll squeeze a sequel out no matter how ridiculous it might seem.

This comes as no surprise. Any independent movie that has had success always makes a sequel (i.e. Saw, Halloween, Friday the 13th and Blair Witch). Hopefully with big success we don't get less than the best.

i expect a paranormal activity 2 to be about as good as blair witch 2 (meaning, it's not), and about as successful (meaning, it's not)

Paranormal sequel will not make it as well because so many of us are pi**ed off at being mislead about the first one. They should do their laughing and quit while ahead
