Though we're still a couple months away from the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, arriving in theaters, AMC is giving Bond fans a chance to watch the super spy on the big screen for one night only. Re-releasing classic movies seems to be the chic trend in Hollywood nowadays as studios look to boost previous box office totals.
AMC will screen the first Bond movie, Dr. No at 50 locations nationwide on Monday, September 24, to celebrate 50 years of Bond in anticipation of the gorgeous new BluRay collection, Bond 50 which hits home video shelves the next day.
Tickets for the event are $7 and every guest will receive a commemorative 50 Years of James Bond poster. In addition, each participating AMC location will be giving away one Bond 50 complete collection BluRay, which retails for $299.99 (although most retail sites are offering a discounted pre-order price).
You can purchase tickets and see the list of participating theaters here.
Will you be checking out this special re-release? Have you pre-ordered your BluRay collection?

I'd love to go--I'm a HUGE Bond fan--but, alas, it's not playing anywhere near me. We don't even have any AMC theaters in town! GRRR! NOT FAIR!!

Cool! I might see it if I have the time.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
"Squirrel!"
