  • Must Go!

    great boxing movie with passion

    by bxfan

The fight scenes are realistic because of Jimmy Nickerson's special, patented camera which he made for this movie. I almost fell out of my seat watching it. This is worth the movie ticket by itself. Kuno is exellent in this movie. The comedy, sorrow, passion between his character and the other relationships are greatly portrayed. This movie casts a lot of veteran Hollywood actors. The plot is straight forward like that of Rocky or Dirty Harry. Eventhough the story was told from a Mexican immigrant's perspective, it has universal appeal to all who immigrated to America. I completely enjoyed this movie.

    From Mexico With Love

A story that was worth telling, acted beautifully and told in a way that added humor, drama, and a real look at how difficult life is for the undocumented workers in the United States. The ending was GREAT! Love that Kuno Becker!

    A good flick

I saw this with my 13 year old son. We both enjoyed the boxing scenes and the storyline was easy to follow. There was one "F" bomb, but otherwise had pretty clean language. Although I have not had the experience of being an illegal or a farmworker, the story pulled on my heartstrings a bit and I did have empathy for their situation. The movie was worth our time and it lended subject matter on a current political topic for me and my teen to discuss. I would add more, but I don't want to bew a spoiler. Added note.....not sure how some of the other reviewers posted prior to the movies release. One is dated Oct 10 and has been up for a week.
