    so so bad.....

This is one short movie, and it would have been advantageous to tack on the extra 30 minutes to provide some back story. There were just too many leaps that needed to be made and most were terribly unbelievable. How did all this happen? No story behind it.....and the audience is just supposed to take it all for granted. The film would have benefited greatly from some flashbacks as the characters began to remember (remember what?!?!?). You throw a little clockwork orange in this film and maybe you would have a tangible horror/thriller movie.
Basically, its just a lot of smoke and lights. No bark....no bite. It was good seeing some late 80's/early 90's actors getting some work, but this was just awful. The more I write, the more I want my money back.
There is no character development, so there is no reason to feel scared or pity when a character is killed. Sometimes it was a relief just to have the annoyance of their character disappear. Now let's talk about the ending.....awful!!!

  • Must Go!

One of the Best Horror Movies of the Year

This movie blew me away. The theme behind it was clever and the story unraveled itself nicely. It had a Session 9 feel to it. The fact that the scares come from things you don't see makes it amazing. It was part of the Horrorfest but I would bet good money that it makes it to it's own release early next year. When it does, you need to watch this movie. If it doesn't, then you need to buy this movie on DVD. Every Horror fan should watch this. If you're tired of the carbon copy horror movies that are cranked out every year, than this is the movie for you. If you like to analyze and think about a story, as opposed to being told what to think and how to feel, this movie is for you.

    What a bore!!!!

And this is supposed to be a "horror" movie? The characters were so annoying that I couldn't wait to see their deaths. And when their deaths happend, not enough time was given to enjoy the kill. The pacing was slow, the lighting was off, and the soundtrack did nothing to evoke any tension or fear. In one scene a character's eyes get scratched/poked out...I wanted to do the same by the time this tragic excuse for a "horror" movier was over.
