What is Wildrose about?

Young June Lorich (Lisa Eichhorn) goes through a painful divorce with her abusive husband. In order to fully escape his grasp, she gets a job as a machinist at an iron mine in Minnesota, becoming the only female laborer there. As the sole woman, June suffers continuous harassment on the job. Luckily, she finds comfort in fellow miner Rick Ogaard (Tom Bower). But when June and Tom's friendship turns into romance, their colleagues become even more aggressive, pushing June to breaking point.
