The town of Uncertain, TX, population of 94 and sitting on the Texas/Louisiana border, sets the tone of the southern gothic and often humorous tale of UNCERTAIN. The town rests on the edge of a vast, swampy lake that's being choked to death by an aquatic weed, upsetting the natural balance and the town’s only source of livelihood. As the town struggles to survive, three men each battle their own demons; a now sober ex-convict who becomes obsessed with hunting down Mr. Ed, a gigantic boar, escalating into man-on-pig warfare; a young, diabetic alcoholic with big ideas but few prospects fighting the cycle of poverty for a bigger life; and an aging fisherman reluctantly letting go of his youthful ways, reflecting on a long life, and making peace with one fateful moment thirty years ago. As the weed continues to encroach on the lake and the town fights for its life, these men are forced to confront themselves in search of redemption and forgiveness.
