Disney takes to the friendly skies once again with 'Planes: Fire and Rescue.' As the Pixar sequel hits theaters, let's go on a reunion tour with the some of the studio's most memorable films about flight.

Dumbo (1941)

If you haven't seen this animated classic about the titular flying elephant, then you're some kind of wrong person.

Flight of the Navigator (1986)

Fans of shape-shifting spaceships voiced by Pee-wee Herman will love this underrated gem about a kid stuck in 1986 struggling to get back to his own time.

Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)

This isn't the only Hayao Miyazaki film Disney distributed, but it is one of their best; a heartwarming fantasy about a young witch who runs an air courier service while struggling to find her place in the world.

The Rocketeer (1991)

Aladdin (1992)

While technically not about "flight" per se, this cornerstone of our childhood offers one of the best animiated flying sequences ever: The magic carpet ride!

Up (2009)

What? No, we're not crying at this modern classic flying-house tale. Just stood too close to onions, is all.
