Unless you've been living under a rock the past few months, you've probably taken notice of actress Zoe Saldana, whose star power has grown exponentially since her portrayal as a Na'vi princess in James Cameron's Avatar. The femme fatale from The Losers has actually had a slew of projects on the big screen. Here's a look back at her promising career so far, in photos from her movies, and red carpet events.
The Losers (2010)
Zoe portrays the mysterious Aisha, who helps a group of betrayed special ops agents get their lives back—for a high price. She gets into a steamy brawl with co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and proves she can hold her own and still look sexy.
Death at a Funeral (2010)
Chris Rock remakes the hilarious British farce about an unfortunate turn of events at a family patriarch's funeral. Zoe shows off more of her comedic chops when she brings her nervous boyfriend (James Marsden) along, and inadvertently slips him a hallucinogen.
Avatar (2009)
As blue beauty Neytiri, Saldana underwent a CGI-ized special effects transformation, and learned the ways and language of Pandora's Na'vi. She'll go down in history as part of James Cameron's groundbreaking "3D performance capture" in the all-time highest grossing blockbuster.
