Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - January 17

Chris Pine stars in the title role of this prequel about CIA agent Jack Ryan who uncovers a global terrorism threat. Kevin Costner and Keira Knightley co-star.

I, Frankenstein - January 24

Aaron Eckhart's abs in IMAX. That should be reason enough for you to check out this adaptation of the Darkstorm Comics reimagination of the Frankenstein mythos. Bill Nighy stars as the film's villain with Yvonne Strahovski co-starring as the female lead.

RoboCop - February 12

The half-man, half-machine crime fighter gets a make-over in this latest update that finds him taking on OmniCrop and terrorists. Joel Kinnaman dons the robo-suit while Abbie Cornish, Michael Keaton and Gary Oldman co-star.

300: Rise of an Empire - March 7

It has been eight years since the first 300 movie wowed movie fans with it's hyper-stylized action sequences. This year, the sequel finally arrives in theaters with a pair of strong ladies facing off against one another. Eva Green leads her Persian army to war against Lena Heady and the Greeks in Rise of an Empire.

Divergent - March 21

In this dystopian YA tale based on the best-selling book series, Shailene Woodley plays Tris, who gets labeled "divergent" when she doesn't fit the mold of the five other factions society is divided into. With a fan base comparable to The Hunger Games book series, it has the potential to be a huge release.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - May 2

Serving as a bridge to two more Spider-Man movies, there's plenty of speculation as to what we'll see in this second installment of Marc Webb's Spidey universe, but we do know the film will be crammed with at least three new villains - Rhino (Paul Giamatti), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin/Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper).

Godzilla - May 16

The classic movie monster gets a remake in his return to the big screen. Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen are the human stars in this sci-fi disaster flick which finds Godzilla taking on M.U.T.O. a monsterous creation which threatens our very existence.

Edge of Tomorrow - June 6

There are very few actors who are bigger, bankable stars around the world than Tom Cruise. Sticking with the sci-fi genre, Cruise stars in this adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's All You Need Is Kill as a soldier who keeps living his last day over and over again. Yes, it's like Groundhog Day set in a mech-warrior universe. Emily Blunt co-stars.

Transformers: Age of Extinction - June 27

Three years removed from Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Michael Bay reboots the multi-billion dollar franchise with a new cast (Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor) and new Transformers, including the much-buzzed-about Dinobots. Plus explosions. Lots of explosions.

Interstellar - November 7

Christopher Nolan directs his first non-Batman movie in four years with this sci-fi drama starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and many more!

The Hobbit: There and Back Again - December 17

The 2014 movie schedule ends with the third and final chapter in Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy arriving in theaters. Picking up from the events of The Desolation of Smaug, can Bilbo and the dwarves recalim Erebor and the treasure and, more importantly, can they hold on to it?
